The World as I See it by Abbigayle (10)

My daughter, Abbigayle, wrote this poem:

The World as I See it

A long day at the park, many things to see
Rollerblades along the road
Ice cream sales
Green leaves on the trees
A big dog barking
People gossiping
Kids flying kites
Children eating apples
A sunny summer day
Being in the middle of a crowd
Eating pears
Eating cake
Being bored
Licking ice cream
I think it’s cold
Nothing spills
Got to go, see you guys later

Abbigayle submitted this poem to a student poetry contest.
She wrote the poem using the first letter of each of our names, then our last name, as the first letter to each of her sentences.
